COMMUNITY EVENTS Congratulations_Beltsville_Academy_ Middle_School_Band_and_Orchestra ---------------------------------- BELTSVILLE GARDEN CLUB SPRING PLANT SALES FOR 2012  Mark your calendars for the Beltsville Garden Club Spring Plant Sales will be held on Saturday, April 14th, 2012 and Saturday May 12th, 2012 from 8:00 am until noon. RAIN OR SHINE.  Both sales will be held in the parking lot of High Point High School, 3601 Powder Mill Road, Beltsville, Maryland. The April sale will include perennials, shrubs and trees.  The May sale will have annuals, vegetables, and herbs in addition to perennials, shrubs and trees. On Thursday March 22nd the Orchestra earned a Superior Rating of I (one). On Tuesday March 27th the Band earned an Excellent Rating of II (two). They worked very hard, and we are proud of them. Congratulations! ~Ms. Murray and Mr. Harrell   Coming up: Wednesday April 25th - 7:00 p.m. -  High Point High School will host the 1st Annual High Point Cluster Concert which will include students from: High Point High School, Beltsville Academy, Buck Lodge Middle School, Vansville, Mary Harris Mother Jones, Cherokee Lane, Calverton and Cool Spring Elementaries. This is a real treat! Bring your cameras!    Thursday May 10th - 7:00 p.m. -  Beltsville Academy Elementary Spring Concert   Saturday May 12th/19th - Beltsville Academy Middle School Orchestra and Band's qualifying students will participate at the State Solo & Ensemble Festival - Good Luck!   Sunday May 20th - Beltsville Academy and Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School students will once again participate in the Beltsville Day celebrations at the Beltsville Community Center. Performance Time: T.B.D.
